Ganz andere Fragen wirft Felix Hüffelmann mit "The Dark Side of the Moon" auf.

Completely different questions are put forward by Felix Hüffelmann with "The Dark Side of the Moon". Many will associate this title with the most successful album of the rock band Pink Floyd which was released in 1973. Its record sleeve shows a prism on a black background which Felix Hüffelmann takes up emblematically in his photographic work. It addresses surveillance, its institutionalization and abuse which were brought to the attention of the general public by the whistleblower Edward Snowden. Felix Hüffelmann does not only address government surveillance but also digital monitoring used by powerful corporations and private voyeurism. In a day and age when drones are used to scan construction sites and surveil the workers, we have to ask insistently, how the protection of our private sphere can be ensured.
